The working principle of the bag filter is to filter dust-containing flue gas and filter out dust particles by filtering data. The dust layer of the filter material also has a certain filtering effect. The dust removal effect of the bag filter is related to many factors, but it mainly depends on the filter material. The filter material of the bag filter is cloth or felt made of synthetic fiber, natural fiber or glass fiber. Sew cloth or felt into cylindrical or flat filter bags as required. According to the nature of the flue gas, choose a filter material suitable for the application conditions. Generally, when the temperature of the flue gas is lower than 120 ℃ and the filter material is required to have acid resistance and durability, polyester fleece and polyester needle felt are usually used. In the treatment of high temperature flue gas (<250 ℃), it is mainly used Graphitized glass cloth; under some special conditions, carbon fiber filter material is used. It is very important to control the speed of smoke passing through the filter material (called the filtering speed) during the operation of the bag filter. Generally, the filtration speed is 0.5-2m / min, and the efficiency of particles larger than 0.1μm can reach more than 99%, and the equipment resistance loss is about 980-I470Pa.
The main points of the bag filter :
(1) Gravity settlement-When dust-containing gas enters the bag filter, large particles and a large proportion of dust settle under the effect of gravity, which is the same as the settlement of the sedimentation chamber.
⑵Screening effect-When the particle size of the dust is larger than the gap between the filter media fibers or the dust on the filter media, when the airflow passes, the dust is blocked and cannot stay, which is called the screening effect. When the dust accumulation on the filter material increases, this effect is more obvious than before.
(3) Inertial force: When air passes through the filter material, it can bypass the fiber. Under the action of the larger dust particle zai inertia force, it still moves in the original direction, and then collides with the filter material to be captured.
(4) Thermal movement-light and small dust (less than 1 micron) moves with the airflow, very close to the airflow streamline, and can bypass the fiber. However, they are subject to thermally moving gas molecules (IE Brownian motion), which increases the contact time between dust and fibers and allows the dust to be captured. The finer the filter fiber diameter, the smaller the porosity and the higher the capture rate, the more conducive to dust removal.
